Mi Pro is top-spec piece of kit with features you'll find on few other phones - including beneath the screen, beating giants like Samsung and Apple to the punch.. With screen notch up front and dual cameras aligned at the back, Mi Pro does have more than whiff of iPhone XS about it - and Xaiomi has at least mixed things up on the design front with choice of colours.. On paper, Mi Pro lacks any kind of waterproofing, which is black mark compared to flagships like Galaxy S9 or iPhone XS. There's no curved glass, except the premium look and feel of Mi Pro is up there with other flagship phones.. look at the specs of Mi Pro's dual cameras suggests Xiaomi is aiming to go beat-for-beat with iPhone XS.. Out of the box, photos are perhaps little too vibrant, with Samsung's Galaxy S9, the Pixel and iPhone XS delivering more lifelike results, and with some tweaking this is incredibly camera phone. Mi Pro is HDR-compatible, too, ing off variance between light and dark parts of the image. Galaxy S9 appears to have higher peak brightness, making it easier to view outdoors in direct sunlight, and Mi Pro is among the upper echelons of smartphone screens.. The price may be right, and the recently revealed OnePlus 6T has more friendly version of Android, with less bloatware, and well-known brand name here in UK, so for many will be the better buy.
