tcl on airplay-2 enabled tvs: 'we are currently committed to roku'

spokesperson for TCL told MacRumors the company is currently committed to Roku.   The company has been able to gain market share in United States thanks to both Roku integration and its generally less lineup of TVs compared to the likes of Samsung and LG..   Roku OS for TCL TVs is the software used on its standalone media players, enabling users to stream content from selection of services, including Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, HBO NOW, Pandora, and Spotify..   AirPlay 2 support would allow users to stream video, audio, photos, and more directly from iPhone, iPad, or Mac to TCL TVs, with multi-room audio support.   HomeKit is also coming to many TVs, enabling users to control volume, playback, and more using Siri or Home on iPhone, iPad, or Mac..   I honestly could not care less what's installed on TV because I'm going to bypass all of it and plug the inputs of my choice through HDMI and never touch the crapware the thing comes with.   It drove better than some of Fords I've gotten recently.. not gonna lie i was about to get TCL 4k tv for my sister for xmas except when i went to bestbuy and saw it next to samsung 4k panel for the same price it was no question samsung >>>>>>.   Samsung does make some good TVs, and the stuff they make TCL's price range is trash Low picture quality, HDR implementation ( i.e it can HDR signal and not reproduce it, software support, and so on...   They have some nice vehicles these days they kinda scare me as to how well they have jumped up quality, reliability, and overall product.. not gonna lie i was about to get TCL 4k tv for my sister for xmas except when i went to bestbuy and saw it next to samsung 4k panel for the same price it was no question samsung >>>>>>..   Google today updated its Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Sheets apps for iOS devices, introducing support for the 11 and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models.   Read more
