macbook air vs. ipad pro: what is apple’s best new computer?

Apple paid overdue attention to its MacBook Air and Mac mini, introduced leaner and more iPad Pro, and fixed the disaster that was Apple Pencil's charging.   By living up to its promised, Windows laptops have also failed to impress me on the life front, and so Apple has opportunity to stand out12 hours of life with MacBook Air 2018...   few of the advantages attracting me to iPad Pro the display, with its fast refresh rate and True Tone adjustment Apple Pencil 2.   My Dan Seifert wrote about it in the context of Surface Pro LTE from Microsoft this year, and he covered Apple this week with that device.   In the I've noticed much of my work time shifting to my smartphone, with the laptop taking role, deployed when I need the larger screen and more keyboard.   That's large part the immediacy of everything I can do on it, and the connectedness to all of the popular social and work communication apps.   The best apps today being developed for iPhone and, by the extension of iOS, as the platform for iPad.   You'll have to spend $1,599 for MacBook Air with 512GB of storage or $1,498 for iPad Pro with Keyboard Folio, LTE, and the storage upgrade.   I'm tempted to trade in my MacBook Pro for one of Airs, though the idea right now might be to take breath and wait out the adopter price premium..   Reviews will determine how good Apple's new products are, and it's not too soon to say that Apple has differentiated their form and function to degree that iPad Pro, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro can all happily coexist on store shelves.   Read more
