huawei p30, p30 pro to have oled displays: report

The latest leak builds on these previous leaks and claims that both Huawei P30 and P30 Pro smartphones will have OLED display.   Last year, P20 came with LCD panel, while Pro variant got OLED one.   According to report, Pro variant is expected to get periscope module just like the one that has been rumored to feature in Oppo F19 and Oppo F19 Pro smartphones. It's still not known about how much optical zoom capability will be offered by Huawei in its phones.   Moreover, P30 and P30 Pro phones wo not be featuring 3D structured light module for 3D face scanning.   Reportedly, P30 will have Sony IMX600 has the sensor, whereas P30 Pro is expected to have Sony IMX607 sensor..   The phones are expected to run on EMUI 9.0 based on Android Pie 9.0 and might come with 22.5W charging capabilities.   Reportedly, Huawei P30 is said to have 6.1-inch display,  while P30 Pro is expected to get larher 6.5-inch screen.   Both Huawei P30 and Huawei P30 Pro are expected to be powered by HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC, complemented by 8GB and 12GB RAM variants..   Kirin 980 is also SoC to use Cortex-A76 cores, to be 75 percent more powerful and 58 percent more efficient compared to their generation.   In configuration, CPU Kirin 980 is comprised of two high-performance Cortex-A76 cores two high-efficiency Cortex-A76 cores and four Cortex-A55 cores..   Read more
