everything apple just announced at their ipad/mac event

This event played host to new set of iPad Pro units, one with 11-inch display, the other with 12.9-inch display.   Now the device has lot of ports and LOT of ways to upgrade.   This Mac mini runs MacOS and has ethernet port, four Thunderbolt ports, two USB ports, and HDMI port.   MacBook Air returned to the scene with keyboard and newly emboldened display.   Gone is the silver metal bezel around the display, book is Touch ID sensor, under its button.   Both iPad Pro 11-inch and iPad Pro 12.9-inch are here to re-configure how you use iPad.   It has Face ID and bunch of cameras and sensors up front, just like iPhone X.   This new iPad Pro set has the ability to work with keyboard and Apple Pencil.   That new Apple Pencil connects to iPad Pro, where it also recharges with wireless charging pad that rests inside iPad.   Of note, this is NOT Qi standard, it's more like the tech used in Apple Watch's wireless charging stand..   Read more
