an overview of the new lumetri interface

He's kicking off multi-part series on color grading using Lumetri workflow.   And they added the ability to create, name, and use multiple instances of Lumetri via drop-down box at the top of Lumetri panel.   This works in the drop-down lists in both Basic and Creative tab.   Ok, it's bit fiddly at first to get to the in your folder structure to create the folders for Technical and Creative use.   Just do it and AfterEffects, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, and Prelude all know where to find any LUTs Looks used in your projects..   And the changes to Lumetri are carried out both Premiere Pro and AfterEffects so learn to use Lumetri in one use it in the other application..   Create grade or part of grade, and make named bins and sub-bins for them in Preset panel.   Control-click the several presets you want to apply, in the order you want them stacked., and drag them onto clip or group of clips..   Back to work in Lumetri panel, use the control drop-down box at the top of Lumetri panel to  select.   then you sit back and watch your bog down.   Read more
