Text Animation in After Effects

Earlier, during experimentation with the software, I came up with method that can be used to create animation where it looks like someone is typing the in real time..   there are various properties under After Effects and for creating this particular effect, I used the property to reveal the characters one by one.   By adding pauses between the spaces of each word, my typing animation was very smooth.   By clicking the drop down button, Now decrease the opacity to 0% and open up Range Selector settings...   Now under Range Selector, increase the start value to 100% and decrease End value to 0%.   Now, click on Stop watch icon at End Value, this will add key frame at your current timeline slider position, now move few frame forward and then increase End Value to 100%.   You can increase or decrease the distance of two key frames to slow out or speed out the animation respectively...   In order to add pauses between each and every word, all we have to do is decreasing the smoothness of the animation.   To do so, Open up the advanced settings by click on Drop Down, Under Advance settings, you will see various parameters, and our main interest is the smoothness percentage...   Now you will notice that the animation looks much more relativistic...   Read more
