Razer debuted its Chroma-lit Nommo line of gaming speakers back at CES this year, offering stylish sound solution for desktops. The Razer Nommo Pro now has release date, completing the range by adding subwoofer, Pod Controller and THX certification.. Dupont Kevlar coated speakers feature the same 3-inch custom woven glass fibre drivers that this time mounting dome tweeters atop each one. The subwoofer is exclusive to Nommo Pro, contained within downward firing 7-inch cylinder... Razer also moves the controls from the base of the speaker into Pod Controller for easier access to control volume and power. Fully integrated with Razer Synapse and Nommo Pro app, owners can use either to adjust bass levels, switch between equalisers and change up Chrome RGB lighting.. While the individual tweeters amplify higher frequencies clean sound has always been point of praise for Nommo Chroma. KitGuru's Deputy Editor-in-Chief Dominic Moass notes of more bloated bass in the previous model when it's cranked up, and it remains to be seen whether this problem also affects Nommo Pro given the addition of subwoofer.. Razer will be launching its Razer Nommo Pro on August 24th for staggering £499.99 $499.99 on its website, with selected retailers following later in the year.. KitGuru Says I certainly ca not knock the style of Razer's design given its sleek cylindrical look, does seem quite eye watering.
