Rating New to Macbook May 21, 2018 Bought this hard drive for my 2011 Macbook. Rating 5 this product turned snail into May 16, 2018 wish i had the wisdom to have done this to my MacBook pro 17 2010 before i bought iMac process to install. SIMPLE cost Very Reasonable, considering the remarkably positive differences it has made to my laptop performance company is great couple items i ordered by accident, returned for refund beyond my expeditious expectations i will use them again. Here are my comments - I used Voyager holder, put SSD in it, hooked it up to MacMini and used Carbon Copy Cloner to turn SSD into full bootable clone. - I used the Upgrade on MacSales com to instruct me on how to install it. Replacing in MacMIni is more complicated than MacBook Pro because the harddrive is trickier to get at. It's always inside MacMini so it takes little bit to get the dust bunnies out. - Installation issue--one of the last steps for removal said to pull the motherboard out the front slightly. One of the reasons to get this SSD is because I hope to upgrade to Sierra or High Sierrra and MacMini is on Yosemite and I had not to upgrade any more because it was slow. February 7, 2018 I was going to buy MBP and figured I'd save myself the money and upgrade the hard drive along with my memory and battery for fraction of what MBP would cost. The process to transfer items took day and I had to get SATA cable. Rating 5 right product at right price January 31, 2018 Simple in my 2012 mac mini as update to replace the internal spinning drive easy to configure for High Sierra install and fits the internal mounting bracket.
