Final Cut Pro X 10.2 is Here and it's Great

After what seems like time, and is in fact only about year, great update to Final Cut Pro has been released, and it is free, like each other update before it. While UI looks primarily the same, there are many new features and many bug patches to talk about, and before you jump directly to App Store and hit Update, few words... The biggest, and more plain update is the introduction of 3D Titles not stereographic support, like bevels, and the example of length. There are many bevel options, fresh templates, you can save your present 2D titles to 3D, you have access to shadows and format, and you can extend 3D title templates further by opening them in Motion... Texture and nudge mapping, sequence text in 3D, and tons of new presets and texture options all allow you to extend FCP X's 3D titles in interesting ways... Outside of 3D titles, there are several new generators, increased key patch and masking controls, increased application Intel GPUs and on time-based effects like Echo. Add Color Correction filter, or just press Command-6 to get access to the Color Board.. While you can also save to ProRes, you can also work natively if Mac is fast enough, and the codecs you can work with also also includes. Previously, Smart Collections could only search Event at time, limiting popularity in not small projects, and Events can also be soon used as tool on even the small games.  Smart Collections, at the top level in Library, also contains new presets, revealing Library's, also subject, projects, and of books whatever Smart Collections you add yourself...  Read more
