Another thing you will notice. if you select Multiple Roles in Project, and attempt to apply Audio Enhancements, you'll have to select the component s in Audio Inspector before you can do so.. When you create Compound Clip of your Project and select Show Audio Lanes in Timeline Index, you also see all Parent Roles buses to. This is very cool, as you can mix add effects to individual Subroles, then do final pass and mix effect Compound Clip. However, there's a. gotcha. you need to be informed of.. You can also add overall effect Limiter, Master EQ etc to Compound Clip Container, and you'll have more ticket grained power to mix effect your subroles, have no need to move back to Roles view.. Importantly, you exporting as Roles or Subroles from a Project, even if it contains clips with this Mixed Audio Role, it will not appear as application when you smuggle the file.. Say Multicam clip to which you have used audio Effect contains Dialogue Subroles and room tone with Effects Subrole. And you want these to output to Dialogue channel on smuggle. In case, when you do any of these things, it will apply to all components in Library that have the Subrole you are deleting, consolidated or moving, so use this wisely.
